Vanceboro's Bathroom Remodeling Specialists

Searching for a bathroom remodeler in Vanceboro who treats your home the way you do? Creative Spaces handles bathroom remodeling from the first design conversation through the final tile grout, with no handoffs and no subcontractors stepping in halfway through. We carry a 5-star rating across every Google review we've received, and every one of those projects was managed personally. If you're ready to stop living with a bathroom that doesn't match how you actually want to live, contact us for a free in-home estimate.

Vanceboro sits at the edge of Craven County, and we serve the area regularly. Older homes here have the kind of bones worth investing in, and we've seen firsthand how dramatically the right renovation changes a space that's felt stuck in a previous decade. Whether you're in a farmhouse property off Highway 17 or a newer subdivision build, we'll come to you, assess the real conditions, and design something that fits the house rather than fighting it.

Our Scope

What a Full Bathroom Renovation Covers

A remodel isn't just new fixtures. It's every layer underneath them too.

01

Walk-In Tiled Showers

Custom walk-in tiled showers designed around your space, with proper slope, waterproof membrane, and tile selection that holds up to daily use for decades.

02

Vanity and Fixture Replacement

From floating vanities to double-sink configurations, we source and install fixtures that balance the look you want with the plumbing reality of your home.

03

Plumbing Fixture Installation

New faucets, shower heads, and valves installed correctly the first time. We don't leave plumbing rough-in work for a separate trade to finish.

Scott handles the project personally. No subcontractors cycling in and out. You know who's in your home, and that person is accountable for the finished result.

Kitchen Work in Vanceboro Worth Talking About

tile installation work, project example in Vanceboro, NC
Bathroom remodeling is our most-requested service in the area, but Vanceboro homeowners ask us about kitchens just as often. A kitchen remodel changes how a household functions every single day, and we approach it with the same designer's eye we bring to every bath project. We handle cabinetry, countertops, backsplash tile, and kitchen cabinet installation without splitting the job across multiple contractors. If you're not ready for a full gut renovation, our kitchen upgrades service addresses the high-impact changes, cabinet refacing, countertop replacement, new fixtures, that transform a dated kitchen without rebuilding it from the floor up. Every kitchen project gets the same attention to detail our reviewers keep mentioning. That's not marketing language; it's just how we work.

Why Homeowners in Vanceboro Call Us Specifically

There are contractors closer to Vanceboro. Here's why that's not the right filter.

Proximity doesn't mean much if the work is average. What Vanceboro homeowners tell us after the project is done is that the difference was in the details they hadn't thought to ask about, the waterproofing behind the tile, the way the grout joints line up at the corner, the fact that nobody had to come back to fix something the following month. We hold our own work to a standard that goes past what the customer asked for, because a remodel that looks perfect from three feet away but fails in two years isn't finished. It's deferred.

They did a full kitchen remodel for us. We have never worked with a company this great. Scott and Chris actually showed up every day around 8:00am. Very short morning coffee breaks and barely a half hour for lunch. Their attention to detail was unbelievable. Great work ethic which is rare in today's world. The outcome of the job was well worth what we paid. They were an absolute pleasure to work with and most of all our German Shepherd loved them. We highly recommend doing business with them, you won't be disappointed.

Frequently asked questions

Do you travel to Vanceboro for bathroom remodeling projects?
Yes. We serve Vanceboro and the surrounding Craven County area regularly. Vanceboro is an easy run from our New Bern base, and we've worked on homes throughout this corridor. We come to you for the initial estimate, handle all planning on-site, and manage the build from start to finish without you having to coordinate separate trades. The distance doesn't change how we work or what we charge for the remodel itself.
What does a bathroom remodel typically involve for an older Vanceboro home?
Older homes in the Vanceboro area often have plumbing configurations and subfloor conditions that newer builds don't. Before any tile goes down, we assess what's behind the walls and underneath the floor. That might mean repairing water-damaged substrate, updating supply lines, or reconfiguring a layout that never made sense for the space. We factor all of that into the estimate upfront so there are no surprises mid-project. Every job is different. Contact Creative Spaces for an accurate estimate.
Can you install a walk-in tiled shower in a Vanceboro bathroom that currently has a tub?
That's one of the most common requests we get from Vanceboro homeowners. A tub-to-shower conversion opens up the floor plan, modernizes the space, and makes daily use significantly easier. We handle the full conversion: removing the existing tub, reframing if needed, waterproofing the liner, setting the tile, and installing the fixtures. The result is a fully custom tiled shower built into the same footprint. We can walk through your specific bathroom during a free in-home estimate.
How long does a full bathroom remodel take for a Vanceboro residence?
Scope determines timeline more than location does. A straightforward cosmetic remodel in a Vanceboro home might take one to two weeks. A full gut renovation with layout changes, new plumbing rough-in, and custom tile work runs longer. We give you a realistic project timeline before work begins, not an optimistic number that shifts every week. Because we don't subcontract, scheduling is tighter and sequencing is managed by one person rather than coordinated across multiple crews.
Do you handle kitchen remodeling in Vanceboro as well as bathrooms?
We do both, and Vanceboro homeowners ask about kitchens regularly. We handle full kitchen remodels as well as targeted kitchen upgrades for homeowners who want the high-impact changes without a complete gut renovation. Cabinet design, countertop installation, backsplash tile, and fixture replacement are all part of what we offer. If you're weighing a full remodel against a partial refresh, we'll give you an honest read on which approach makes more sense for your home and your budget during the estimate visit.
What should I prepare before Creative Spaces comes for an estimate in Vanceboro?
Nothing elaborate. A phone photo of the current space helps us come prepared, but we don't need plans or measurements in advance. If you have ideas saved, bring them. If you have no idea where to start, that's fine too. We spend the estimate visit understanding how you use the space, what's bothering you about it, and what would make it work better. From there, we develop the scope and present it clearly before any decision is made.
